The University's Space




Bogdan Voda University has its own material assets located in the cities of Cluj-Napoca and Baia Mare. The university’s space is made up of its own buildings, lecture halls, seminar and course rooms, laboratories and libraries, administrative offices and sports spaces, as well as their equipment. The university’s space includes the totality of buildings, terrains and other equipment, at the disposal of the academic community for the carrying out of the educational and research process, of the cultural and sports activities, as well as of administrative activities. The university uses auxiliary spaces belonging to other educational institutions on a contractual basis, if necessary. spatiu

spatiu The University's headquarters in the city of Cluj-Napoca are situated on Grigore Alexandrescu St., no. 26A. Its own teaching space in the university campus, situated in Cluj-Napoca, includes: teaching spaces for the activities of teaching and seminars, laboratories, libraries, chairs, the student restaurant. The University’s Rectorate is also located here. The space including the seminar rooms, the computer science laboratories, the auxiliary teaching spaces and the administrative spaces, are depicted in the following table:

The material assets rented within Contract no. 2718/28.10.1999, annually renewed, include the following spaces at the Gheorghe Lazar College of Cluj Napoca.

The university’s own educational spaces, in both Baia Mare and Cluj Napoca, are equipped with furniture according to the standards required by the academic higher education.

The office inventory for secretarial work and administration work includes: in Baia Mare (computers, fax machines, printers, scanners, color TVs, video-projectors etc), in Cluj Napoca (computers, xerox copiers, fax machines, scanners, printers, color TVs, video-projectors, digital printing machine, laptops etc).

The Library in Cluj Napoca and Baia Mare has over 12.000 volumes representing 3150 unique titles and subscriptions to 61 journals and periodicals.

The material assets rented include lecture rooms, seminar rooms and sports halls, within contracts for renting concluded for the duration of each academic year, annually renewed. Within the Baia Mare Foundation for Youth, Unirii Blvd. no. 13 (Contract 623/03.09.1993, annually renewed) the spaces rented are the following:

Thus the university's own space covers its need in a proportion of 100% for daily instruction, there being additional needs on certain weeks (sports bases being rented for practical training for physical education). The training needs in Baia Mare, and Cluj Napoca respectively, are covered 100%, and for the non-attendant training form the necessary space is covered according to needs. The university’s own material assets, modern and functional, ensures the logistic support necessary for an education at the standards required, the funds allotted for investment and equipment being above the compulsory 25%, these funds hailing from income.
